Work surfaces - Granite

Granite is an extremely hard igneous rock consisting of clearly visible crystals of various minerals. It is a visually striking natural stone, which not only looks stylish but also possesses many practical properties. As a highly durable, waterproof and heat resistant material, granite is ideal for everyday use in the kitchen. It is also a scratch and stain resistant surface, resulting in a hygienic surface.

Finishes and Fitting

There are different thicknesses of granite available from Cumbria Granite and Marble. The standard thickness is 30mm, however, there are built up options available up to 60mm for a thicker, more substantial work surface.

We also offer different types of edging on all of our granite work surfaces, such as rounded, square and chamfered finishes.

We offer a template service where you required worktops are made to templates, cut, polished and fitted. This service ensures that your work surface is a perfect fit.
