Work surfaces

At Cumbria Granite and Marble we offer a variety of worksurfaces. Worksurfaces can be made from three different types of stone, Granite, Composite Stone and Marble. Although it is recommended that marble is not used in the kitchen, please see our Marble Page for a good idea of where to use marble.

Choosing a natural stone, Granite, or a refined natural stone, Composite Stone, means that not only will your worksurfaces benefit from the unique natural beauty of the material, but also the long lasting durability. Both composite stone and marble are heat, stain, scratch and water resistant.
